I heard an artist say once that they had been inspired by everything they ever saw, whether they wanted to be or not. That sounds about right: work comes from work, and ideas come from ideas. All of my work is created with oil paint on canvas or panels. Often I will start or finish a work with a palette knife, sometimes making the whole painting that way. I've shown my work throughout the US, Japan, and England. My real highlight is that somehow I am still working at it, still happy in the studio, and still teaching young artists.
